It's been another long wait, but we're back with another Meanwhile... Update, and the latest addition to the Post Mortem, writer/artist Jeff Parker. I know I promised David Fury last time, but for reasons I won't go into just now, that plan kind of hit a brick wall. I'm pretty sure David's interview will show up in the next update, and I promise you won't have to wait 3 or 4 months for that one to happen.

Also included in this update are a a reposting (for archival and memorial purposes) of my Eisner Tribute from a few years back and a 1998 interview with one of my favourite writers, Stefan Petrucha.

As some of you may know, Will Eisner died earlier this year, and I wanted to do something to pay tribute to someone who did so much for the comic book form and was someone I always looked to for inspiration. Stefan Petrucha was, at one point, the writer of the ill-fated X-Files comic book and is featured in an interview spotlighting that aspect of his career. This interview originally ran in the one-and-only Meanwhile... Summer Special which was posted sometime in the summer of 1998 and attempted to capitalize on the release of The X-Files: Fight the Future which hit theatres that year.

Just as an aside, I've also linked to an interview I did last year with Goon creator, Eric Powell. Eric's a very cool guy and has one of the kookiest books in town. If you have some time, head on over to the Archive section to check that action out.
